The story
Photographer Berth Milton Sr. created Private in Stockholm in 1965 and at first sold it to newspaper kiosks himself. It is generally regarded as the first full-colour explicit magazine. In 1991 the brand passed into Private Media Group, led by his son Berth Milton Jr.
