The story
Los Angeles publishing and distribution company of Milton Luros, a New York pulp-magazine illustrator who moved to California in 1958 and built a business in nudist and erotic publications; its book imprint Essex House published erotic novels in 1968–69. Luros and his companies, including Parliament News, Inc., were convicted on federal obscenity charges in Iowa in 1966; according to his biographer he later won on appeal. Erofemme’s catalogue attributes these titles to Parliament on the basis of the copies themselves.
